To install a combined heat and power (CHP) system into care homes free of charge and maintain it for free for 12 years. After 12 years the CHP system is yours to keep and the electricity it generates is totally free.
What if my existing heating and electrical systems are working well?
This isn’t a problem, you will retain your existing gas and mains electricity systems and these will run as secondary supplies. Your CHP will be the primary supply with the existing systems topping up as required.
How can you provide this offer for free?
This system is funded in conjunction with leading energy companies as part of their energy company obligation and the technology uses lower cost gas to generate expensive electricity. Some of that saving is passed on to our installation company to pay for the installation and maintenance whilst you receive cheap electricity and free heat.
How do we pay for heat?
There is no charge for the heat provided by the combined Heat and Power (CHP) system.
What experience do you have?
Our partner installation company has extensive experience with CHP and are very familiar with the residential home sector. They have also won the prestigious CHP Association award for CHP in this size range.
Who maintains the system?
Our installation partner maintains the system and there is no charge as it’s important to us that your new installation works well and gives you confidence that it’s benefiting you and your care Home.
